Prof. KR Shusheele Gowda,founder of Nethaji Rural Development trusts., was a driven soul whose purpose was to enrich the life of the people around him and educate the children from all backgrounds.He was a man with high morals and believed in absolute equality. He was revered among his peers and respected by his colleagues. His work for Indian Institute for Public Administration and adult education was unparrelled. He was awarded with the Suvarna Karnataka Rajyothsava Prashasti in 2006 award for social service.
In 1957 he was actively participated in the Bhoodana movement with Sri Acharya Vinobha Bhave.
He later published “Kabbatti Ranga” a folk song literature.He went on to teach and propagate Sanskrit to people from different walks of life, recognizing his efforts for the propagation of Sanskrit among the rural mass Govt of karnataka gave him an award and citation in 1987.Before starting the school he was the principal of Govt.First grade Arts College Hassan, First Grade college Belur and Govt. Science College Hassan.
